According to Microsoft's product roadmap for Files On-Demand for macOS Mojave, the status has been updated to 'Rolling out' as of Thursday, and is being provided to Mac users of OneDrive for Business. Initially announced in September, the Files On-Demand feature is now being rolled out as a full feature. Microsoft has started to roll out Files On-Demand for Mac, a function of Office 2019 that allows users to see all of their files held in OneDrive storage from the Mac desktop, with documents downloaded from the cloud only when they are required. It is not a case of incorrect notification.
However, if I edit & save a file on the Mac it will remain in an 'uploading file 0 of XX KB' state on OneDrive. The file size or type seems to be irrelevant. I do not see the file updates online (when accessing the work site via browser) nor do the updates download to a different machine.Networking (either availability, speed, jitter or latency) is not an issue (on a 802.11AC 2x2 MIMO).
